Certificate in Latinx Mental Health Counseling

Help meet the need for culturally informed mental health counseling practitioners to work with Latinx individuals, families, and groups. Develop a multicultural and holistic approach to counseling and psychotherapy while gaining a deepened understanding to form your practice in serving Latinx clients and advocating for positive change on an individual and community level. This degree is offered 100% online.

Antioch’s Certificate in Latinx Mental Health Counseling is designed to provide advanced knowledge and skills related to working with Latinx clients and the community. More than 17.6% of the U.S. population (56.6 million) self-identify as Latinx, making people of Latinx origin the nation’s largest racial/ethnic minority (American Psychiatric Association & Lisotto, 2017).

This certificate helps professionals cultivate knowledge, awareness, and skills to work with Latinx clients and their communities.
